Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located in Midtown Manhattan, at the south-west corner of 40th Street and Lexington Avenue at 124 East 40th Street (aka, 350 Lexington Avenue), Suite 801. We are two block south of the Grand Central Terminal, across from Starbucks. The building's entrance is on the 40th Street, between a restaurant called Bloom's and a hair studio called Concord.
Q. What trains are near by?
A. You can take 4, 5, 6, 7 and S subways, or Metro North and get off at Grand Central Station (42nd Street).
Q. Can I take the A+ Core exam one day and the OS exam later on.
A. Yes, you can. You can take both exams on the same day or on different days.
Q. What is VUE?
A. VUE is one of the two major computer based testing vendors. Prometric is the other one.
Q. Are there any differences between VUE and Prometric?
A. Yes and No. There are no differeces in the exam questions. Exams are developed by the sponsors (Microsoft, CISCO, CompTIA, etc.) The Differences are VUE's system is slightly more advanced, stable and flexible than Prometric. GT Solutions is both a VUE authorized and a Prometric authorized testing center.
Q. Can I take some exams with VUE, and others with Prometric?
A. Yes, you have the freedom to choose a testing vendor on an exam-by-exam basis. Taking a certification exam at one testing vendor does not obligate you to take other exams with that same vendor.

Q. What is the passing score for each test?
A. We cannot provide an exact passing score for each test. Each sponsor replaces exam questions frequently. Different version of the same exams has its own passing line. Numerical exam scores become meaningless. As a guideline, examinee should be able to accurately answer at least 80% the exam questions.
Q. What is an adaptive exam?
A. Based on whether the examinee answers each question correctly or incorrectly, the computer determines the difficulty of the next question presented. The main difference between a fixed-length exam and an adaptive exam is that, in a conventional fixed-length exam, you can skip questions or go back and review previously answered items. On an adaptive exam, you can't do this.
Q. Are Microsoft exams adaptive?
A. No, current Microsoft exams are not adaptive. Question's vary in point weighting, but the number of questions are fixed and you can go back previous questions.
Q. Can I take a break during testing?
A. A break will be allowed during testing if you request it, but the testing clock will not be stopped during the break. Candidates are not allowed to conduct activities during a break that may compromise exam security, including communicating with other examinees.
Q. If I don't pass an exam, how soon can I retake it again?
A. Retakes require a minimum 5-day wait for any Cisco Exams. If you do not pass a Microsoft or a CompTIA exam the first time, you may retake it at any time. If the second time, you must wait at least: Microsoft: 14 days, CompTIA: 30 days to retake the exam a third time. A same waiting period will be imposed for all subsequent exam retakes.
